Also just to clear up some misconceptions that I have had several people call me asking about. Sara was trying to return to dance classes and cheer practices the past couple weeks, which her surgeon said was ok at her time and speed, but couldnt do very much and mostly sat and watched just to be around her friends to support them. She did not hit her head at any of these practices and we were very cautious with what she did. She did hit her head when her and bri were playing around at bedtime which was nobodys fault. She loves her sister and loves playing around with her. The hit to the head DID NOT cause this and was not anything that happened that could have been avoided. She really wanted to return to her normal kid life but we were being very cautious with everything. The surgeons have no idea why this happened but have a theory that it was just how her body tried to heal up. She was close to lethargic when she came in but she was breathing just had a really hard time talking, walking and interacting with anybody. There was a possibility for a vent but they ended up not having to vent her. She was at a dangerous level and in an emergency state when she got here but we got her here as soon as we thought that her getting sick was not a virus and there was something wrong. We thank you all for your prayers and know that they are helping her and I just wanted to clear up a few things that somehow got mixed up. She is not completely out of the woods but she is doing good given how she was when she came in. Please continue the prayers for her recovery and for her body to heal right this time! Thank you for all the prayers that have brought her this far!
