MID-NITE CALL;11/21/13; JN.3;1-6;;; Here we see Nicodemus; a Pharisees a ruler=(leader); Came to JESUS at night;;; He didnt want to be seen by others in his religion;;; The 1st. thing he said to JESUS was Rabbi=(teacher) we know that you come from GOD; because no one can do the miracles you do except GOD BE WITH THEM;;; THERE IS A-LOT IN THAT STATEMENT;;; 1st, he called JESUS rabbi=teacher;;; giving JESUS the status of someone that knows the word; or is a leader in their religion;;; 2nd. We (KNOW) YOU come from GOD;;; if you know some one is from GOD why dont you listen=(obey & follow their example as long as its a GODLY example);;; 3rd. Especially when there is a godly witness to their life;;; Especially when theres concrete proof that GOD is with them;;; JESUS told him you dont understand what IM about because you are not born again=( spiritually alive unto GOD);;;we are born with the sin nature of Adam; & must be born again by the SPIRIT OF GOD; JN.1:10-13;;; 1 PETER.1:18-23);;; Nicodemus really showed his spiritual blindness with the next statement he made;;; He told JESUS Im an old man how can I enter again into my mothers womb & be born a second time;;; Thats the same thing with people to day they dont understand GODS word simply because their spirit man is still separated from GOD=(not born again);;; & until you are born again you will not see=(understand) the things of GOD because the things of GOD have to be spiritually discerned 1 CORINTH.2:12-14 ;;; we must be born of water=(natural birth of our mother) & of SPIRIT=(having our spirit made alive=[quickened] unto GOD;;; GOD comes to live in you;;; starting a personal relationship with in by HIS SPIRIT;;; without that relationship you cant enter=(partake of the things of the kingdom of GOD);;; In other words you cant get to heaven unless you are born again;;; ACTS.4:12 There is only (((one))) NAME GIVEN AMONG MEN WHEREBY YOU MUST BE SAVED;;; THINK ON THESE THINGS;;; IN HIS SERVICE;;; JOHN
