Although I know its boring, if not offensive for people to post things on Facebook that might be of NO interest at all to their FB friends, today I am going to take a risk and post a recent event in my life. If youre not interested, thats perfectly fine. Feel free to ignore or hide this comment. But here it goes: Since 2009 I have had to have angiograms approximately every 9 months to a year to monitor two conditions. Yesterday I had yet another one. The procedure isnt fun, but Ive been through worse, and I was in the hands of a very capable neurosurgeon and his staff. When all was done, he came to my recovery room to tell Dale and me that the dysplasia in my neck arteries appears to have stabilized and the aneurysm in my head, although it has dilated a bit, it isnt a concern at this point. The best news was that I dont have to have another angiogram for 2 years!. If I had been allowed to get out of bed (Im required to lay flat for 4 hours) I would have jumped up to hug the man! It was such a relief to hear that news! But with all the Benadryl and steroids in my system to ward off an allergic reaction to the contrast dye, I spent the remainder of my time dozing. Im spending my time laying low at home today and counting my MANY blessings! Thanks for letting me share.
