It just looks like a boozy work Xmas party for NZs celebrity class with enhanced levels of self-congratulation, and a night when we can deny that 95% of our musicians are part-timers by necessity. Good luck and congrats to everyone involved and all, but Im not sure what value the awards really have when the judges arent even generally sent copies of the work theyre appraising.
