Although hes making references to his particular [home] society, I think most of us can come to a common ground and understand what hes saying on a personal level whether we apply it to our own home societies, communities or not. Be cautious of the traps within ideologies. Always consider or expose yourself to other aspects of situations & beliefs. Global conflicts are obviously multi-dimensional and there are many facets to speculate. When it comes to religious ideology, I sometimes get so hammered by dogmatics with negativity whenever I express my unconventional views. It seems most religious groups are so fixated on the subjects of hell & judgment that theyre creating their own plane of hell on earth. Why not focus on creating a personal paradise or heaven on earth by seeking peace within so that we may live more productively, creatively & lovingly? Why not seek to exude peace, love & positivity even in the midst of seemingly sick societies? No matter your religion or non-religion, we can all agree that these principles promote wellness - backed by science, spirituality, sacred Holy texts, etc.... ~~~~~~~~~~~ Some highlights from this interview: -I do not believe in gallows of ideology. Our problem in the world is that we have many gallows of ideology and accusations of social betrayal On which we try to hang an intellectual, a thinker, or a poet everyday. -We, Im sad to say, are against creativity & civilization & against any language that seeks common ground in society. We must have the courage to get rid of the backward cholesterol of ideology accumulating in the arteries of awareness & the mind. -We need to reform & reshape religious thinking. -The beauty of man lies in his living for the sake of his homeland not dying while booby trapping others. -As for the policy of non-violence, Id like to give you the example of Gandhi, whom I consider a hero. -In my home, I put up a picture of Jesus because whenever I look at his picture, worlds of peace & love open up to me. It was Jesus who said: Love thy enemies, bless them who curse thee. We need this beautiful language in our society. -I also have a picture of Gandhi, whom I consider to be a very fine person & whose image we should plant in the minds of our youth. -How wonderful it would be if all these people could gather in love around the table of humanity. -Nations that read more are the nations that are most respected [...]
