Although nationwide some students have been complaining about the food with the stricter standards, thats not been the case in South Bend. South Bend Schools Director of Food and Nutrition, Victoria Moore says, “Believe it or not we didnt have any backlash from it. Sometimes if it’s too heavy well hear from the students but not like you are hearing from the other districts. South Bend schools serve about seven thousand breakfast meals daily and twice that amount in lunches. There are also several that participate in the summer lunch program.
