Although we can never fully thank those willing to put their lives on the line for our country, we CAN work to ensure they have all of the resources necessary to enter the workforce when they return and help make their transition back to the private sector as smooth as possible. That said, I wanted to share with you a new website that aims to help veterans with their job search and connect employers with service members and their spouses. Through the site, veterans can receive assistance with building their resume, career training and converting military skills into private sector skills, and employers can access a resume database of qualified veterans, as well as a military skills translator. Check out ebenefits.va.gov/ and please help spread the word by “sharing” with your friends and any veteran you know who may be interested.
