Always enjoy a break from routine. Cathy Nix Fletcher is returning to her reality via a post surgery stop in Lubbock. She hopes to check in with family of my Wilbanks cousin, Druella Wilbanks so maybe an update for the extended Maddoxs who arent in our FB world. My Go-to-Guy Albert called this a.m. Lost his dad just a month ago and older sister on Tues. Loss is difficult but seems more so around holidays. MMMCCC concert last night - music, reminders of the simpler times & true American values. Most enjoyable to share the evening w/Cath, Renay Holton Oliver, Sharon Miller, Clarence Bunch some of my regulars, re- meet Clarences sis, Deb, & hubs, & actually get in a visit w/Sheila Goddard. A bonus which made my night was seeing my bro & wife enjoying something they rarely do. Continued prayers for each other- we all have trials, indecisions, paralyzed by fear of the unknown & known-- random acts of kindness -- just that smile or an encouraging word. An afternoon of work-related reports & grateful for this wonderful job I get to do from the comforts of home. Extremely overjoyed I still have my business savy & skill set.
