Am concluding the second day of the ORIANA cruise---everything going great! Perfect weather so far, warm outside, cloudless skies, and smooth seas! We are at the moment sailing south along the Spanish coastline. We will be in Lisbon tomorrow--our first port. Am looking forward to the spectacular entrance there under the Tagus River Bridge---one of the greatest in Europe (similar to the Golden Gate). Played my first recital yesterday (out of five on board)--had a nice, large audience. The new Director of Music for Carnival UK (covering both P&O and Cunard)--the person with whom I communicate to get my cruises----is on board and heard me yesterday and I met for the first time personally. He was most enthusiastic and I am very glad I have made the personal contact with him now. He has already given me four cruises for the summer of 2014. More on those later. Well, time to look to what the evening will bring! My next recital will be tomorrow after we depart from Lisbon.
