Am getting very commercial about my studies for paintings, - TopicsExpress

Am getting very commercial about my studies for paintings, envisioning them in contemporary architecture. No more Spy Kids or weird architecture either. Kenny Schacter can have his Vito Acconci skateboard parks and Zaha Hadid whose work is too cartoon-like. Although, of all of the artists, I secretly luv, luv, luv Tomas Bunke and Jerry Wilson the best, and I myself can see them transforming one of Kenny Schacter’s Koonsian interiors into something intellectual, my world is more conservative. I like the way I have lots of extra work that I can sell in antique stores, interior design boutiques like we do of Tamara de Lempicka, abstracts by Natalia Goncharova, Frida Kahlo and have also a secret stash of cuttable, enlargeable Prado masterpieces that can serve, if ever in a giant space, as trees of life for the thousands of miniatures that as of yet, still do not need to be replenished with new ones. The pin ups are serene in terms of how painterly they are and black & white, mostly which is trendy in a daring way. Maybe someday. Dino Eli may start marketing them on Orchard Street for $5,000 each for the largest, cutest, middleclass, flatchested bimbos.
