Am planning Underground Festival 2014. We are looking at ticket prices of $25, but would like your input. I started the Underground Festival as a platform for alternative acts that I feel could be getting a bit more support and as a stepping stone to other festivals for them. In no way do I want to hike prices up to a ridiculous level as that is in no way what the festival is about, but at the same time a ticket price of $25 is affordable for people, and it would mean something for the bands too. My intention is not to make the festival massive with internationals and no chance of local acts playing. This will NEVER be a pop festival suddenly getting top of the pops acts over and charging stupid prices and $9 for water and selling watered down lion red, but like I say, a $25 ticket price is good for 10 bands, an all day party and will allow something small to help the bands too. Have your imput: What are your thoughts?
