Am so excited to show you my first piece of free form crochet. Free form crochet is about hooking without a pattern. Using basic stitches, you basically let the piece form as youre crocheting. First off, I am not a big crocheter and to go with the flow is a skill Im acquiring. So all in all, this was a very freeing project for me. I call it Big Bang because it is an explosion of colours and texture. The cowl features Italian Merino wool and Firestar that I carded and Border Leicester locks that I dyed myself. While I spun the yarn, I autowrapped it with a blue metallic thread. It is a riot of blues, pinks, yellows, and greens - both ornamental and functional! This eye catching, one of a kind cowl is priced at $75.00. Never to be duplicated! Batt Girl was in the Batt Cave today modelling it for me!
