Amanda Reber writes... Hi everyone! I live in Alberta, Canada, I have a question in regards to keeping your sheltie cool during the summer, I have a bi-black girl and this is my first summer with her (got her September of last year) and shes much furrier than when I originally got her (shes about 20 months old now) and Im wondering if anyone had any tips on keeping their shelties cool? I have heard about shaving their bellies, but with the short summers we have, Im worried it wont grow back in time for winter. Im also trying to get her to wade into lakes when Im out camping or hiking, but shes not a huge fan of water yet. Thanks everyone!!
