Amani - 14.1 bay Arab gelding 12yo. Out of Edykia by R Magic. Full long term loan or companion home sought. Would consider potential sale after a period of time to the right home but his welfare is my main priority. Amani is a quirky little Arab. I have had him for 5 years and he came with a few issues. Most have been solved but he needs an experienced calm handler who is consistent day in, day out. To summarise his issues . . . - problem to load, he will go eventually, this is a fear issue. I have no doubt that some work and regular loading would solve this. He has traveled back and forth between Livingston and Moray with little issue - Legs. He will tolerate me with his front legs, can be groomed and picked out however he will only allow me to gently groom his hinds. He wont allow the vet or farrier near him, I have managed in the past but its not an experience I want to put him through again so I trim his fronts and his rears are kept down by road work. Again another issue that will probably be overcome through time. - I started schooling him as he was rebroken when I purchased him however due to a baby he has had approx 2.5 years off. But you could go down tack him up and get on tomorrow without an issue - he has some other little quirks but these are more order hes tacked up and rugged, Needs contact with your arm when being lead inhand ect nothing major. Please no novices or first timers, or idiots. I dont have the time to entertain you. Thanks
