Adam Lambert & Katy Perry sing on ‘Imagine’ remake Adam Lambert and Katy Perry are among the stars featured on the remake of John Lennon’s Imagine, which will be sold for charity in the festive season of 2015. While Bob Geldof put together his own supergroup of musical celebrities in the UK for Band Aid 30, which broke sales records this week as it was released for download on Monday morning, in the States UNICEF signed a plethora of singers to contribute to a recording of the legendary song, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Stars joining US songstress Perry and American Idol star Lambert, are singers such as will.i.am, Nicole Scherzinger and Cody Simpson. The song will feature as part of UNICEF’s #IMAGINE project which will see menders of the public being asked to record their own additions to the tune via a mobile application on phones and tablets. Popular DJ and producer David Guetta rework the additions and put together a multi-lingual version of the tune. Meanwhile, Adam has thrown his weight behind another worthy cause and offered fans the chance to see he and Queen perform live, in aid of Red.
