Amber is a little mongrel with a beautiful coat of golden brown fur. She was rescued at Tuas, at a dangerous construction site. Behind those eyes, she has a powerful story to tell. Selfless Amber gave birth to 5 puppies in Nov last year and she had 2 blissful months with them. Despite facing harsh living conditions, she was happy to just be with her precious puppies. But this was not a case of happily-ever-after; this bliss was temporary. The cruel reality had to tear them apart and the helpless mummy was heartbreakingly separated from her puppies. Having been through this trauma, Amber is quiet and withdrawn and can be wary of strangers at times. Being in the shelter for a few months now, we can proudly say that she has made massive improvements. We see her wagging her tail more and more often, even more at the sight of food. Amber mummy is always seen lazing around but she is extremely observant and clever. She really enjoys walks, be it long or short. Understandably, Amber gets very excited and happy around small dogs, sometimes even protective. A mothers love indeed has no boundaries! Amber mummy is estimated to be 2-3 years old and is HDB approved. She is sterilised, microchipped and fully vaccinated. With lots of tender love and care, this brave little girl will open up and become an important part of your life.
