Amended Repost (factual counterpoint appreciated and will be addressed) Welcome To The Show: If local media, with long established sources, can report a political story accurately, how could anyone possibly believe a self-described, entertainment tabloid can produce accurate, unbiased reporting? These fear-peddlers are padded with plenty of PAC money and have a clear and stated agenda. For anyone interested in facts, it is beyond me why they would choose these hacks in lieu of factual news reporting, less the hateful and hyperbolic rhetoric. Many people see much wrong with our government as do I, but if I wanted factual information, I wouldnt go to the likes of Alex Jones, Glen Beck and the many others that echo their tripe on site after site verbatim and have a clear profit motive and political agenda in mind. Local reporters on the ground in Nevada have a completely different take on the circumstances surrounding the events at the ranch and none of them associate any kind of land grab in their reporting as sensationalized by these provocateurs such as land grabs for fracking early in the reporting by these paid propagandists and most recently a land grab for a solar energy facility by Alex Jones. And then, once a peaceful agreement is made it is because of the upcoming mid-terms and orders came directly from The White House and a whitewash. It is no secret this has been going on for 20 years and due to the Sheep Wars, a clear and effective law was established in 1934 to prevent this sort of thing from happening which has been ignored. Fracking and solar energy was still in its infancy 20 years ago so what was the reasoning back then? Bundy has had countless opportunities to negotiate in those 20 years and has been faced with three court orders, one of which dates back to 1998. The law requires he may feed up to 150 head of livestock, but he has snubbed his nose at them while feeding up to 900 head and without grazing fees established by the Taylor Grazing Act of 1934. So you see, this isnt an Obama or Reid conspiracy, but just another hate campaign for profit. It is also an attempt by Bundy to maximize cattle profit illegally at the expense of all taxpayers on public land. Bundy is quoted as saying that he abides by almost zero federal law in a recent interview and holds a manufactured belief that Nevada is a sovereign territory and admitted to adherence of very few state laws and uses these beliefs as justification. Make of that what you will. Yet, the reporting by locals with journalistic integrity gets conveniently ignored. Is the hatred for the government, the President, his cabinet or fellow Americans who believe differently as is their Constitutional right such a forgone conclusion that we choose fiction over fact to back the hate and escalate a potentially dangerous range war? I am proud of the Fox local reporting regardless of the dark money poured into anti-government rhetoric on their very own parent network through AFP and the Koch Brothers. It took courage, but they got it right as well as all of others with these established sources that believe in journalistic integrity. I hope and pray people realize soon that they are being used as entertainment for profit and have a starring role in the cast. Welcome to the show.
