America needs to change up, and get some arts on mainstream television on a regular basis. This corporate/capitalist mentality is ruining us. A lot of people are still open-minded, and actually want some options. The music portion of the late-night shows has become like a knee-jerk channel change. I watched some guy tonight, and thought, hes okay. Okay? Thats all we get? Okay? Kids have been raised on spectacle, shock-value, and blips and beeps. My son doesnt have a concept of pretty music, or a beautiful song. Its not in his vocabulary. I think everybody should have some pretty music.
