Amid of the complete shutdown of Kathua was observed, frequent protests were held by BJP/BJYM/ABVP/ on several places of town Kathua well as district against the assault on Hindu Community by the Muslim Miscreants just after having the Namaz in Kishatwar, were reported here today. The kalibari National Highway, Hatli Morh National Highway and Lakhanpur National Highway were the most highlighted spots where the BJP/BJYM jointly held the protest and caused traffic disruption to traffic movement by blocking for several hours. To lodge the protest against the brutal attack on Hindu community by a folk of Muslim miscreants in Kishatwar yesterday, Ahmadabad Express and Chennai Express were halted for several hours by the ABVP and Shiv Sena under the leadership of their respective leaders Rahul Dev and Narinder Tangri respectively at Railway station Govindsar, Kathua here today. The ABVP activists amid the Kathua Shut down gathered at Kathua railway station Kathua and made halt to a train Ahmadabad Express which was arriving to Ahmadabad from Jammu and started slogans against attack and UPA government.
