I know its hard to understand when one feels the financial crunch, and I understand that most Americans absolutely cannot cope with is doing without or falling behind when it comes to having things. Please do understand, that every single time you get that thing ,so cheap it is an act of predation on another human being. Some person, does not have a job, because you need to have the latest game console at a discount. Some craftsperson suffers because you have to have a corset for $50. You will defend this, you have to, because accepting it is too brutal. This country and many more are following, has become so sickeningly entitled and spoiled ( you do know that word means rotting, right?) that the idea of paying for anyone else work is a horror. Cheap crap should come with a side of ridicule. Im not talking about the necessities of life here, food, shelter, internet service. Im talking about the things one wants, not the things one needs. I remember when there was a difference. they charge too much = I cant afford it and that makes me feel a bit embarrassed so Im putting the blame on the maker. A year ago today, a friend of mine died. He was a great maker. He found he had cancer a while before, he had insurance and was kind of keeping up. then someone knocked off his work and too many people defended to knockoffs. he fell way behind, and when he felt that he was going to leave his wife and kids destitute. He hanged himself in his shop. So yeah, I have a bit of a thing about this. I will never be good about this, and some of you out there, You are not just paranoid, I really am out to get you.
