Amigos Profes, me llegó esta info: The school on Juan Fernandez is looking for an elementary school teacher willing and able to work at the remote outpost on Alexander Selkirk island. The 1 room schoolhouse has 8 students, from kinder to 6to. Selkirk is located 12 hours sailing time from Juan Fernandez. Conditions are spartan to say the very least...no health facilities, no internet, satellite phone only...one radio station (Bio Bio) has coverage there. Pay is 650,000 pesos. The teacher would be expected to work on Selkirk during the lobster fishing season....March-May and Oct-Dec.
