Amongst all the DJs involved, none of them are Muslims. Or at the very least, not known for having ample knowledge and have certified, professional qualification in Islam. In a live, public radio. This is like me giving an open talk about Buddhism whilst not being Buddhist and having close to zero experience about the religion. If I ever decide to give one on national radio, imagine the backlash Ill get from it. This already goes beyond freedom of speech. They did not even offer an outlet for the topic to be debated, argued or agreed by someone who is closely related to the said entity. I thought freedom of speech should be fair. Ive heard Sharaad on Night School a few times. Lovely segment. I listen to Uma and Carolines Evening Edition every time I have the chance, and I love their humour. Pick Of The Pops is nothing without Patrick Teoh. Hell, Im still gonna listen to them through and through, but clearly they have crossed the lines in this matter. And you guys urged me to pledge for them?
