An article from The Times Of India BIPASHA BASU AND KARAN SINGH GROVERS ALLEGED LOVE STORY 1...Karan Singh Grover, who was recently in the news for his separation from wife Jennifer Winget is now being linked to Bipasha Basu, who will be seen sharing screen space with him in his debut film, Alone. Bipasha also hit headlines when she decided to take a break from her relationship with Harman Baweja. Though Karan or Bipasha have never admitted to their relationship publicly, both of them always remain in the news for their alleged relationship. Their film Alone revolves around the novel concept of conjoined twins and the spine-chilling and intriguing trailer has managed to create curiosity. However, the lead couple of the film and their chemistry are garnering much more attention in the media. 2..Bipasha, who has always been open about her relationships, claims that she is not dating Karan. In an interview to the Times Of India, when Bipasha was asked whether she and Harman broke up due to her closeness with Karan Singh Grover, Bipasha said, I have never hidden my relationships. Give me time to understand my life and whenever I have understood it, I have spoken about it. And No, I am not dating Karan. This is easy gossip and conversations. The fact is that two people can stay in a relationship or break up, only based on the two people involved. It can never be because of a third. The third will always come in if there is a problem with the two. Thats how I look at relationships. So the third person is inconsequential between the two. Karan and I get along like a house on fire. We have great on-screen chemistry and great comfort together. And over the course of time, the way I came to know my director Bhushan Patel is the way I came to know Karan. Even when we had started the film, we knew about Karans personal problems. What I like about him is that he is very unpretentious. 3....In an interview to the Times Of India, Karan said, Bipasha is more than a friend as she is also an inspiration. She is so disciplined, be it for her coming on time or her workout schedule or her habit of always eating right. She is also quite whacked out and is very funny and you now know, absolutely blind. He added, I initially thought that she had a bad memory, so every day on the set, I would go really close to her and say, Hi. I am Karan. I am working with you. But only later, I found out that she cant see people from a distance. She only recognises forms. She is a very positive person, who makes people very comfortable around her. She has only nice things to say about other people. Very few people are like that. She is very genuine. I wish she would completely stop using make-up as she has a really nice skin texture and looks even nicer without make-up. 4....Bipasha Basu says that she has become immune to such rumours, but this time around Bips might not entertain any such nonsense. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, when asked to talk about the buzz hinting at her being the reason behind Karan Singh Grover parting ways with wife Jennifer Winget, she said, I wish people give me respect and not make up such stories. When we started shooting, everyone on the set knew that there were issues between Karan and his wife, and that was long ago. If people drag me into the discussion now, I will not be quiet and entertain this nonsense. The actress also told HT that she has grown a very thick skin because of these link-up stories. 5....While talking about Karan Singh Grovers work, Bipasha in an interview to Times Of India said, Usually, everybody comes here to impress you. This guy comes with the way he is. Thats what I like about him as a human being. I could say that Karan is a friend and I hang out with him as there is something similar between him and me. He too is honest, simple and forthright and has a great sense of humour. He believes in giving affection to people and I like affectionate people. He does things like, if Bhushan wants coffee or ice cream, he would get ice cream for the whole unit. Once our stylists assistant wanted donuts and the next day, Karan got them for not just her, but the whole unit. And that shows his big heart.
