An engineering college batch mate of mine, whose father happens to be my service colleague, has messaged me in response to my posts something which I wanted to share: I had gone to my home last week and came back just yesterday. ghar par pitaji tumhare bare mein baat kar rahe the. he told me how honestly you were performing your duties in XYZ and how courageously you went ahead with your work even when there were threats to your safety. I must say it filled me with a lot of admiration and respect. (references removed)... I know how difficult it is to follow the path of honesty and integrity...(references removed). I congratulte (sic) you and salute you for the wonderful work you are doing wish you all the best and hope you are in the best of health and spirits In this age of self promotion and publicity, I thought I should make this public with names/references removed. Thanks friend for making my miserable life pleasant and my resolve firm. This is a very positive note on which I can peacefully end this year and look towards a new beginning with my head held high.
