An event to benefit those who lost home or whose homes were damaged in the Black Forest Fire will be held from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday, July 14, at Challenger Middle School, 10215 Lexington Drive. There will be a silent auction to benefit students and staff members with education-related expenses through the Academy School District 20 Education Foundation. There will be a concert and children’s activities and hot dogs. Please bring your own chair and blanket to enjoy the concert. Tri-Lakes Cares will be on site with collection trucks. Other organizations will be on site to collect for first responders and La Foret.
