An excerpt from this weeks letter: Judgement is like a screen or a wall between you and someone else. It is impossible to love someone if you pass judgements on that individual. You have already determined the type of person he or she is, but you dont really know the person. They stop you from getting to the soul of that individual, and then loving that soul. [...] The critical mind destroys by labeling something as inadequate and then dismantles it; the learning, searching, believing mind creates by seeking to understand, improve upon, grow, and to exist more substantially. [...] Criticisms dont correct. The concept of correction is not built into criticism. The more you complain the worse events become. Complaining immobilizes by keeping your mind on the problem and so prevents you from seeing or seeking solutions. A condemnation leaves only debris with which to rebuild.
