An excerpt from this weeks newsletter: The strangles threat is down to a dull roar here at Lancers. We are well past the 21 day incubation period with no signs of illness. From here on in, if anyone gets sick it will be due to the bacteria coming in to the barn on humans, not from equine contact. Because there were other people who did not pro-actively eliminate equine travel, the threat still exists and pretty much all competition has been cancelled for the entire month of May. The good news is that this does give us another opportunity to have another training show here on May 25.
