An exciting opportunity has arisen at Milton Keynes Dons Football Club for an Academy Assistant Coach within the Youth Development Phase. Based at MK Dons Training Ground, you will become an essential part of the innovative and dynamic Coaching Department. This role requires a forward thinking Coach with the appropriate communication and management skills to assist with the implementation and co-ordination of the coaching service for players in the Milton Keynes Dons Football Club Academy. We are looking for a highly motivated individual, with a focus on challenging our young players through their individual programmes. In addition to the delivery of coaching sessions, you will also be responsible of maintaining the environment. The individual will be required to show a flexible attitude and ability to work approximately 12 hours per week consisting of two evening sessions, Saturday mornings (training) and a Sunday games. The successful applicant, will ideally have but not essential, experience of providing coaching for young players and be able to demonstrate appropriate communication skills with players, parents/guardians and other members of staff. Reporting to the Lead Youth Development Coach (U12-16s) and Director of Youth you will be tasked with assisting the delivery of the philosophy to an age group within the Youth Development Phase. Youll show high levels of motivation, the ability to dedicate time to the programme as the schedule determines and schedule regular continual professional development activities for the department. Applicants must possess a UEFA B certificate and FA Youth Award (Modules 1-3), be registered with the FA Licensed Coaches Club and desirably posses a background of delivering Academy football.
