Our only constant is change, isnt it? So the trick is getting accustomed to our circumstances changing all the time. Because just when things start to all look really good, something happens! Always will. There will always be bills to pay, irritating people, stupid people, crazy people, bad drivers, financial issues, legal matters, health conditions, virus outbreaks, the IRS, and family issues. And wars around the world that will probably still be going on when we die. This is not a planet of perfection. (I often wish it was, but its not. I hope I go home to that planet one day.) If we only let ourselves be in joy when everything seems perfect, were going to be waiting a long time. Go to sleep tonight, and choose joy. Wake up tomorrow, and choose joy.
