An important part and the heart of the #MissWorld competition is Beauty with a Purpose. Beauty with a Purpose (BWP) is a non-profit organisation that was created by Julia Morley in 1972. This amazing initiative has seen ...hundreds of millions of pounds have been raised and donated to local and international organisations in aid of disadvantaged children the world over. (BWP) I would like to introduce you to the 2014 Miss World Fiji BWP Project. Our project focuses on the special kids at the Children’s Ward at Colonial War Memorial Hospital. As hard as the doctors and the nurses work to help them, the paediatric wards needs more of an important and essential specialist equipment that helps saves lives. This essential equipment is a ventilator. A ventilator helps kids do something we take sorely for granted; it moves breathable air into and out of the lungs. Our mission is to raise awareness and charitable funds to purchase this life critical system to help raise the level of care we provide to those in most need of it. I am so grateful for all the organisations and individuals that have supported and continue to support our cause. Together we can make a difference to our little brothers & sisters who are admitted into the Children’s Ward at CWM Hospital.
