Just a while ago, Fox News, the most watched news network in the US, was still running a bold headline that claimed that, by 10 PM of the US Eastern Time (6 AM in Russia), Russias deadline to Ukraine to surrender or face military attack was to expire. The ultimatum is disinformation, and it is US own disinformation, which was fed into circulation during the day. In the afternoon, several hours before Fox News made the main headline of the evening and before other US and Western outlets repeated it (i.e. US Today, Reuters, CBS, NPR, BBC, you name it), Russias Defense Ministry officially declared such assertions to be completely false. HOWEVER, hardly any Western news channel bothered to report it. CNN put it somewhere inside of one of the articles, but, as I said, Fox News was still running it as the looming threat. Now, into this comes the news that the EU is issuing its own ultimatum to Russia with a 48-hour deadline. Other things to consider: it appears that the junta has thrown its commando units on Odessa the last major city outside of Kiev, where the junta is still hoping to carry out a version of its coup from Kiev. The fascist paramilitaries are alleged led by the notorious Sasha Beliy, who is now famous for talking to the officials through death threats in a pointed company of his AK-47. Anderson Cooper of CNN is reporting from Maidan, Kiev. Last time, such mobilization and uniformity of warmongering scripts happened was during the fabricated crisis over the false flag chemical attack in Syria in August and September last year. What does this suggest? It appears that a fatal decision has been made or might have been in the White House and that a nasty confrontation or provocation or both is in the making. I do hope that it will turn out otherwise, but it appears to me that a warning is required. At the same time, John Kerry is heading to Kiev apparently just as we speak. Clearly he carries with himself a speech, some goodies to the fascists, and possibly also what cannot be excluded some possible mischief that might push things over the edge for the fascists are desperate. They do represent a minor voice in Ukraine and they know it. The next 10-24-48 might be critical. Although, in the end, we all have just one voice, it is important today, especially today, to raise one voice and say: No to fascism. No to imperialism. No to perpetual lies that have been making for perpetual wars ... until we might face the ultimate one. God bless you all.
