An invitation from Dr. Ganitsky-- Faculty and students in the MAIA program are invited to attend the following presentation (11/20/13, 5:30 p.m, at Storer Auditorium): UM Ethics Programs presents Jack Sim discussing “Sustaining Social Enterprises” in Storer Auditorium – reception to follow, flyer attached. Jack is an extraordinary Social Entrepreneur who has received the Swiss Schwab Foundation award for Social Entrepreneur of the Year, been named a Hero of the Environment by Time magazine and elected a Fellow of Ashoka: Innovators for the Public – all in part for his work to overcome taboo and raise awareness of the role of sanitation systems in environmental waste. Founder of the Singapore-based World Toilet Organization, which has organized ten World Toilet Summits, Mr. Sim arrives in South Florida after helping the United Nations mark “World Toilet Day.”
