An old man was walking at my local shops on a walker. The front wheel was taped up & every turn it did it would almost collapse. I stopped him & asked what happened to it & he just said that it was old & he didnt have the tools to fix it. I asked him if he lived locally & he told me just 4 doors up the street. I told him I had my mums walker & if he would like it I could drop it over. He was so overwhelmed he shed a tear. I got home & Shane put it in his van & dropped it off. When he returned home he burst into tears! I asked what was wrong & he could hardly speak. The old man lived in the garage on the side of a house with just a curtain as a make shift door. It was cold & gloomy. But the old man was beaming when he was given the walker. Sometimes its not fair to some people & a lot of people take too much for granted. So next time I see the old man at the shops I know my mum will be watching & smiling that her walker is walking again....bless
