An upcoming film I thought you might find interesting and want to check out: ...an independent feature film called She Sings to the Stars. Fannie Loretto, is a grandmother from Jemez Pueblo in New Mexico who grew up close to the traditions of her elders. In the story, shes a grandmother who still follows those traditions as she lives with drought, water rights co-opted and water poisoned by the coal corporation and a survivor of U.S. policy toward native peoples. It also deals with the magic of wonder, of our bountiful Mother Earth, the interconnectedness of all life, our huge potential to live and love together in a sustainable, respectful way -- and the strength of the wisdom of Grandmother which has too long been disregarded.
