We are so touched by the generosity so many of you have shown to someone who is family to us, but a stranger to most of you. Bless you and thank you for your care. Wow - the kindness and generosity we have been shown these last few days is overwhelming. Family, friends and complete strangers have opened their hearts and given what they can to help save Nichos life. Thanks to your incredible support, Nicho was flown back to Melbourne by a professional medivac team today. They left the hospital at about 8 am this morning and our biggest concern was if Nicho would survive the flight, as some doctors advised this would be his main hurdle. I am so thrilled to be able to tell you that Nicho arrived safe and alive in Melbourne this evening. We really wouldnt have been able to achieve this without all of you, so from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. The next step for Nicho is to be assessed by doctors in Melbourne, and from there hopefully rehabilitation. He is so strong and is loved by so many. We are hopeful.
