An update on my beloveds ..... Eddie went to the doctor this afternoon to change the dressings and everything looks par for the course. Creepy, but par....he will go back in a week to have the staples removed and receive a hard cast, non weight bearing for 8 wks. Then a little surgery to remove the big long screw and then a hard walking boot and rehab. I told him I think he should cover his casts with various Christmas stockings for fun! He is just silly enough that he thought that was a good idea:). He is in quite a bit of discomfort tonight. All of the localized anesthetic has worn off. He hopefully will rest with his pain meds tonight. I feel a little like when I had babies in the house. I have things I really need to do. But probably need to go to bed because I know I will be back up soon.
