“And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, - TopicsExpress

“And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.” (1 Kings 17: 1). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today. When Elijah proclaimed that there would be no dew or rain in Israel, he simply cursed the entire nation. Elijahs word later affected even those who had no idea of his proclamation. That proclamation was attracted by Baal worship under Ahabs reign (see 1 Kings 16: 30-34). Ahab was the chief offender that attracted the curse, but the entire nation suffered.Friend, no curse will prevail over you; you won’t be a victim of another man’s proclamation; you won’t be a victim of a curse you did not attract; you won’t labour under the negative words of men; you won’t be a victim of satanic manipulations that may be affecting people around you; others will not attract curses or make mistakes only for you to bear the consequences; others will not eat sour grapes only for your teeth to be set on edge.Every curse and handwriting of ordinance against you shall be deleted by the blood of Jesus Christ. Every satanic proclamation that has kept you at a spot shall be nullified. Any word that has been spoken against your land shall not stop you anymore. No negative word shall hinder you.You are blessed and not cursed; you are not a victim; men shall not stop you with their words; satanic projections and proclamations won’t rule over you; no more shall you suffer for what you do not know about; no more shall the words of mere mortals keep you at a spot.If it is not God’s word concerning you, then it has no reason to rule over you.Proverbs 26 vs. 2 puts it aptly: “A curse you dont deserve will take wings and fly away like a sparrow or a swallow”(C.E Translation).Pray With Me: Lord, no curse shall prevail over me, in Jesus’ name!Follow on Twitter @jerrystreams.Have A Restful Saturday!
