And by the way, a tip of the cap to someone a ton of football fans -- many of whom are misguided or misinformed or just miserable -- hate: Philip Rivers. He just improved his Monday Night Football record to 8-5. He just led his team to a victory over the previously 4-1 Colts. Hes in the Top 5 for QB efficiency (or QB rating, or passing efficiency, or whatever the QB category is) in a season he was picked to be very near the bottom. His intensity and grit -- which are on par with, say, a Peyton Manning, even though his overall skill and Hall of Fame credentials arent -- are admirable. Plus, his wife is about to have their seventh baby. Thats not for me, but I appreciate how much of a family man he appears to be. OK, Im done.
