And here we go.... Well before the start to the season, We would be doing gym in the garage with together Daniel Pledger, talking about the up coming season and our chances. You would always talk it up and knowing one of your best mates Corey Thompson had been signed, well, you were proud as punch. It was as good to you as if it were you that had been signed. You would talk up the chances as if it was never in doubt, while I took a more pessimistic approach. I hope but didnt think it would happen, Dan though, he knew! Man I wish you were here bro, we would be at the GF together this weekend with all ya Brisbane boys and you would be just sitting there with that look on your face, that little smirk, so proud. I really think that although the boys would have trained and worked hard themselves, that when the state of origin hit and we started slipping down the ladder it was you watching over that got us back on top. Now the confidence is back and there ready to fire. Watching Corey this year has been amazing. It makes me happy knowing you have his back. He has played better then the most seasoned pros this year. Safe as houses and much loved amongst the bulldogs fans for his efforts this season. Rookie of the year! No doubt. His only problem....hes a Queenslander but hey I wont hold it against him. So well done Cory, well done doggies. What ever happens you have made a lot of people happy this year. Well done! And Dan, have a word to the big man for us and get us through. Haha. Love ya brother.
