And if the mass privatization happens, only the rich will be able to buy their way into the classroom. That should cut down on overcrowding. It might also affect teacher qualifications, if you think about it for a minute. If a school is private and doesnt have to meet any standards put in place by a governing body, whos to say that the owner cant hire anyone he wants to and set the standards for teacher qualification himself? No one, thats who. It could very well turn out to be the same fiasco that happened when banks, brokers and insurance companies assured everyone that they could police themselves. How did that work out for everybody? Any time you have a privately owned company that only cares about the bottom line because they worship the almighty dollar, you will never be able to trust them to do the right thing. Because they wont, ever. They will do whatever brings in the most money and that which is best for their bank account. How many times does a deregulated firework plant have to blow up before people see the connection? How many oceans have to be killed? How many rivers have to be so choked with refuse you can practically walk across them? How much air has to be lost? How many species have to go extinct? Will it ever be enough for those who only care about money?
