And may I also add to this that treatment centers and so-called Psycho-therapists prescribe too much also. When I worked for a treatment center in NY many years ago, it was mandatory to be seeing a therapist. I couldnt get my condo sold in Westbury because the housing market sucked then and I was very depressed and scared. Yes, this Bronxbabe does get scared also. Well the therapist sent me down the hall from her office in Nassau Hospital to a Shrink and was crying and he immediately started writing out a prescription for a tranquilizer and my very 1st thought was great, I can tell my sponsor I have to take it, but then my 2nd sober thought was No. I said to the shrink I am supposed to be scared and upset because of very real Life happenings. He told me I was suffering with Post Traumatic Syndrome and I said in my very sweet Bronx way, bullshit and walked out of his office and quit working in treatment centers. Next October, if I dont die , I will have 25 years clean and sober. God was my answer
