And then some this week goes to Dr. Maryam Hariri who works at our Niagara Detention Center. Thank you Dr. Hariri! “Our dentist that services the Niagara Detention Center, Dr. Maryam Hariri, is constantly performing at a high level and the administration and nursing staff there really enjoy and respect her. We have had issues with equipment and staffing a dental assistant several times there and she always pulls through with a smile and makes it happen to the best of her ability. She called me a few months back just to tell me how much she enjoys working for ACC! This last week, the dental assistant called in sick for the first of 2 service days there. Dr. Hariri told me on the phone that she will set up the clinic and do all the examinations and cleanings the first day without an assistant and set up the extractions and treatment for the second day. Then she said ……“and don’t you worry, my concern will be every patient in the chair”! She got through the patient list and the next day the assistant showed up. They were able to complete the rest of the treatment and extractions. The Health Service Administrator was very pleased with how it was handled and then she sent me the attached “Random Audit” that was conducted on Dr. Hariri last month. She scored a perfect 100%! We need more Dr. Hariri’s”
