And they cast their lots, and d lot fell on Matthias. And he was numbered with d eleven apostles. (Acts 1:26). I am suprise to see d Apostles casting their votes to choose d person to replace Judas here. The question is this, who cast vote to choose any one of them? I am sure they were chosen by Jesus without any vote. You will not see exactly where Matthias function in d Bible. You will equally believe with me that when it was time, Jesus Himself had to choose d Apostle Paul who replaces Judas. The idea of casting vote as d system obtainable in d world to choose people into spiritual position is an aberration. We are now playing politics now in d church to chose people into Gods work. I think prayer should be made to God & to hear from Him whom to choose 4 that sacred position. Voting should be ruled out in d church. Church is different from d world. The very reason we are having crisis in d church will be that we are no longer in d spirit to have people in d position in our churches.
