Im so thankful for my mama bear and sister bear, I tell them just about everything and they are always there with open ears and open arms to comfort me. As days, months and years come and go and my daughter is just growing as much as I wish I could keep her a baby or toddler she grows... today at work, she got asked where her dad was(by the owners daughter who is same age as liah) and I over heard her response which was I dont know and she started to talk on a play phone pretending to talk to a dad and the stuff she said just about brought tears to my eyes, almost 4 years old now and I know I cant keep avoiding her curiosity of why she doesnt have a dad like her other friends do, I know the day will come and I am not prepared and dont know where to start... shell go a month or two without mentioning a dad then shell start with the whole dad questions and talking to a dad on her pretend phones... Question for the single parents how did you deal with a situation similar to mine? How do you stay strong for such a curious little ones questions? To all the single parents keep doing what youre doing, you are an awesome person for taking two roles in your childs life and being and giving all you can to your kids! I know it is a hard yet you make it happen with a smile on (: when my daughter was a baby I use to cry myself to sleep and lose sleep over trying to think about our future and support and be the independent mother I could be for my daughters sake.. Ill admit wasnt an easy road but Ive gotten this far on my own with my daughter being my encouragement for better... props to the fathers that take care of their responsibility and stay apart of their childs life and vise versa to the mothers as well, there is no greater gift the creator could bless you with, a child is life so take care and raise them to be the best they can be. Kiss your little ones be grateful for them and also be thankful if your significant other or kid(s) father is helping you raise your child/children and being there to help and support you through bringing life into this world and raising him/her... Bringing a child into this world isnt all fun and games its a lot of responsibility... Just whats on my mind this evening!
