Angels Amongst Us :) ... After not much sleep, we got up at 4 this morning, and were on the road for the 2 and 1/2 hr drive to Marquette General for Mary Hafemans back surgery. I am grateful that I was able to go along. The 3-1/2 hr surgery went well. Then over 2 hrs in recovery. Then another couple of hours and we were able to leave for the 2 and 1/2 hour drive back. After we left the hospital, we went to McDonalds for a couple of large drinks, as Mary hadnt ate or drank anything in almost 24 hours, and then we went to Wendys. Our order came to $12.05. I get up to the window to pay, and the girl said the customer ahead of you paid for your order, and said that she hopes that you get well soon. WOW!!! I dont know how the lady ahead of us could identify us, but it must had been from hours before, at the hospital. There still are angels amongst us. :) Mary has been coughing and vomiting, Shes tucked in now, and hopefully she has a decent nights sleep. Remember to do good will to others, for it SURLY comes back around! Goodnight all :).
