Angels For Animals *****UPDATE ADOPTED!!! This baby girl needs someone with shepherd experience. She is two years old and is going on her 3rd home (that we know of). We originally took her in last year as an owner surrender. They didnt have time for her so she needed a new family. Last week she came back to us because sadly her owner has lost his job and his home. He did not want to give her up but he didnt know where he was headed and Ginger can be a bit of a handful. She is a sweet girl who LOVES people. Unfortunately she has tons of pent up energy and hasnt had a lot of opportunity to release it. She was tied out in her yard while her neighbor dogs ran free. This seems to have affected her reaction to other dogs passing by. She is very dog selective. When we first took her out to the field today she ran like she has never run before. It was so beautiful to see that I watched and forgot to get video of it. We were almost in tears. Ginger needs an adopter who understands typical shepherd behavior and who is willing to work on training, socializing and making sure she gets plenty of exercise for her mind and body. She will take some time and patience but with a bit of work and a ton of love she will make someone a great new family member.
