Well, the near is nearly over. Im not doing that photo-collage but a written re-cap will suffice. Its certainly not been a boring year. I got out of the longest, most serious relationship I have ever been in, after almost 3.5 years. June was a period where I felt as I did in 2010, the last time I was really unhappy. Autumn was an unhappy, lonely time for me, and Ive not been able to sleep well since August. I lost some close friends who I valued dearly. I wasnt able to attend festivals with the ferrets due to that wretched June summer class and work schedules. I was plagued with resentment and hostility that took some time to get over. However, there was possibly more good than bad this year. The concerts were amazing, with some highlights being Flogging Molly, Paganfest, Deathfest, Tyr/Metsatoll/Eluveitie, King Diamond, Dreadcrew and Omnia. I made the conversion from sweet wine to dry wine, particularly for reds, such as Chiantis and Merlots. I continued my exercise kick from last year, looking and feeling the best physically I ever have. I re-joined APA pool league in January, making new friends and re-connecting with those in APA who I was friends with back in 09-10. Hell, I think I made more friends than I lost, some of the former being good friends of mine now. Sekengard played some good shows, making new allies and fans near and far, with some good shows coming up for us this coming year, and it seems we finally have a good, stable line up and a bright future ahead of us. I got acquainted with Wardruna, and because of this band my study of the runes was re-kindled. Perhaps the biggest and most special accomplishment for me is that I finally graduated college, after so many years of switching majors, schools, and bad semesters. I hope I can build off of this next year and get myself a good flexible job in/around Towson/Baltimore County. Getting over my autumn blues was quite nice too, and now I can enter 2015 with my head held high.
