Angie says: 11 month old started being unwell last Wednesday (2nd july) started with a cold and then a tooth popped through on sunday which explained the cold like symptoms. the cold went but hes now been left with sickness and runny nappies (sorry tmi) since Monday (7th). I went to the gp on Wednesday because he stopped drinking or eating and no wet nappies. and they said just give him his formula and water. i also told the gp how he was not himself, hes sleepy all the time and lays cuddling me all day not wanting to play. certainly not like him. I have tried water and formula that but hes still exactly the same. hes sleeping loads still too but now the sickness is just at night and hes still not eating or drinking. he has appeared to get slightly better, hes sleeping less but still dont want to let go of me or eat or drink. iv tried different cups and bottles and different juice or water and formula in each but hes not wanting to open his mouth. any advice would be welcome. even though I explained the symptoms to the gp receptionist I was unable to make another appointment before the weekend. so please no negative comments about just going to see the gp coz I tried. (GP = General Practitioner/Poster is British so please keep that in mind)
