Anna with an update.... Carter is sleeping well this morning after having an early morning chest x ray to follow everything else he had last night. He has a little haziness around his chest so they will be starting CPT (Chest Pounding Therapy) again. He was receiving that before surgery but they had stopped it for obvious reasons. He will be having his NG tube (Feeding Tube) moved further into his gut. They will be placing it in his intestines so he will still receive the nutrients of the breast milk but it will not make his tummy upset. They are pretty sure the stomach upset was caused by too much air in his tummy from the Vapotherm (Oxygen mix) that he is on. It gets pushed into his nose and can sometimes have air go into his stomach and cause a stomach ache. They do not think that it was an allergic reaction to the milk. Im hoping that all goes well and it is smooth sailing today!!
