Annalise got to enjoy orientation tonight. She met her teacher and went on a bookmark tour of the school, which ended in a high five with the Principal and entering two contests. Pastor Brian was there as well. Annalise enjoyed some free time exploring her classroom and the different areas of learning. Daddy Steffen Rivenburg and Mommy Trish Rivenburg will be joining her for breakfast and lunch the next few days to ensure Annalise masters the basics of getting her tray, food, milk and not forgetting stuff like flatware, straw and napkins. Its an exciting new learning experience. Annalise and I also had a nice conversation with her aunt Anna Mulas in Germany. We hope to see her soon, as well as the rest of our family in Germany. That was a wonderful mixture of German, Italian and English spoken. Its been a great evening. Everyone goes back to school tomorrow. Please drive safe as our children return to school.
